NEWSFLASH! Buns to Banquets Chosen Caterer for Katie Price and Alex Reid's Wedding
Buns to Banquets was started in 1996 by head chef Lesley Weston and her business partner Annemarie Shaw Roberts. They attended the Ballymaloe Cookery Scool in Ireland with the inspirational Darina Allen and the business grew from strength to strength.
In 2002 Annemarie left for pastures new in Spain and Lesley had a very difficult decision to make! She was given lots of support and encouragement by her contacts, friends and previous clients and decided to continue running the business on her own.
Buns to Banquets is a company specialising in catering on a personal level. Every menu is planned individually for the client and their occasion.
We work with a group of people that we know and trust, ensuring a happy and relaxed occasion. The uniformed staff are always polite, discreet and attentive and are trained to the highest standards. In April 2006 Buns to Banquets were lucky enough to work with chefs from The Ivy, J Sheekey's and Le Caprice.
Then in September 2006, the company started to work alongside The Monsoon Restaurant in Billingshurst. This means we are now able to offer a full selection of authentic Indian food, cooked by professional Indian chef's. It has proved a very popular addition to the facilities we offer and we are enjoying this collaboration.
Most excitingly, in July this year, we were the chosen caterer at the blessing of Katie Price and Alex Reid. It was a remarkable event to be a part of. Various meetings and tastings took place at their home and on the 3rd we fed their friends and family in the most beautiful marquee in the grounds of their very lovely home. The whole day was filmed by an ITV film crew and was broadcast on ITV2.
 We now offer a 'mobile bar service' which is run with a colleague Simon (Olly) Oliver (BTec diploma in Hotel Catering & Institutional Management). We offer an all inclusive service, providing the drinks that you want to provide, using a local brewery for real ale.
We can provide as little or as much as the client needs, including the names of people and services such as equipment hire, chocolate fountains, cakes, flowers, hog roast, wok & paella chefs, bar running, marquee hire and wine supply.
