Just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work on Saturday night and in the build up to it.
I think the night went really well and everyone seems to have really enjoyed themselves, so thank you for the part you and your team played in that.
The food and service were excellent, and I'm really grateful to you for being so efficient with everything and for sorting out the slightly worse for wear pipers!

Thank you for the excellence of Xanthe and George's reception.
The serving of the guests in the afternoon was seamless.
I though ordering steak for the main course of the evening meal might be a risk because of all the formal dinners I have been to where the steak has been dreadful.
Not so with Buns to Banquets. My steak was delicious and perfectly cooked, and I had asked in advance for it to be rare, whist some others had required theirs to be cooked for longer. To provide beautifuly succulent steak, cooked at differnt lengths but delivered at the same time was most impressive.
Many guests made a point of expressing their delight, and surprise, at the outstanding quality of food.
Your waitrts were also excellent, dealing, later in the evening, with slightly over exuberant young people with tact and skill.

I have heard rumour that you might not remain the preferred caterers for the Barns in the future --- you'll be a hard act to follow.

As Father of the Bride, I'd like to express my appreciation of the excellent catering at Megan and Mike's wedding at Upwaltham Barns on Saturday last, 3 September.

Everybody said the food was magnificent and the staff were excellent. I can certainly endorse that.

The idea of having a tapas-based menu meant that there were many dishes to suit everyone's taste, no matter what they may not not like in the way of food, plus passing round the dishes helped people communicate with each other - although I suspect the champagne and your excellent canapes before the meal also contributed.

In the evening, the Paella supper you organised with the Big Dish guys was fantastic. Many people, including myself (and I was sober) said it was the best paella they'd ever had. I went back later for a second helping.

Finally, your staff did a great job of tidying up and leaving the place spick and span.

Well what a day!

Many, many thanks for everything you did for us. I knew from the start that I would be able to leave that side of the Day to you. Not once did I stop to worry if everything would go as we had planned. In fact when we exited the ceremony I was surprised and grateful to receive a lovely glass of mulled cider - and quite forgot that we had actually planned, together, for it to happen!

I know that Gems was also very happy with the day. The cheese and pineapple went down a storm and not just with those who knew immediately why it was there!

We are now back from honeymoon and back to the world of work! We had a fantastic time in Italy.

We wanted to finally write to thank you for everything you did for our wedding celebrations back in June. We can't believe how fast the time has gone since! However, we really did have an un fotgettable day & were incredibly lucky with the westher & everything worked in our favour.

The food was perfect- as we knew it would be. You totally put in practise all we wanted out of our menu and it suited the day down to the ground. Especially the chocolate brownies which were delicious-Carina thoroughly enjoyed them.

The evening fish and chips went down a storm as well-everyone was thoroughly impressed & had satisfyingly full tummies (in a good way)

We found all your staff extremely friendly & helpful - they are a credit to you. We were also very impressed with the decorations- they were done exactly as we visualised.

We hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did. And thank you for all your efforts on the Sunday too.

We definitely picked the right people for the job and it goes without saying that we would highly recommend you to others, without a doubt. Keep up the good work.

Hi Lisa and Lesley,

Colin and myself would like to say a big thank you fo our wedding breakfast.

The QE2 style afternoon tea was fabulous, elegant and dainty - just what we wanted. Thank you for all your hard work. All our guests loved the afternoon tea and were very complimentary! Lisa, you weere the PERFECT house manager - keeping an eye on everything especially our table :) and ensuring that it all ran very smoothly indeed. All your staff worked so hard to make our wedding bereakfast such a sucess, Lesley, we will be recommending Buns to Banquets to anyone looking for catering as we feel you gave us exactly what we wanted. Oh... thank you so much for taking apart the cake stands and packing them up again - something we thought we would be doing on Sunday morning!

We cleared out of Upwaltham Barns just after 10am on the Sunday back home (to Mum's home in Petersfield) for a family and close friends Sunday lunch and everyone there were saying how much they enjoyed the tea and munchies that went down very well... Colin and I finally managed to grab one for ourselves as they were disappearing fast! We did not get a chance to have any chips because they were devoured very fact especially by the kids but we are told they were yummy!

Dear Lesley & Lisa,
We thought we'd drop you a line to reiterate how delighted and grateful we were to you all for everything you did to help make our wedding day perfect.
You were amazing right from the very beginning. We wanted to let you know the reasons we initially chose you over the other caterers. When we first chose the barns, we emailed several of the recommended caterers and asked for an idea of price based around a very basic idea for our menu at that stage. This was very important to us as we needed an idea of cost, so we could set our budget. The other caterers just sent us photocopies of sample menus that we'd already seen on their websites, which was no use to us and quite frankly a waste of paper! You, on the other hand, took our ideas, came up with a menu based on those ideas and priced it for us. Of course, once we'd met you wouldn't have gone with anyone else anyway as we liked you!! Thought this information may be useful for you to have.
Over and above that your level of service was second to none. You always replied to my emails, no matter how ridiculous my questions were! Your professionalism on the day was fantastic, you all looked smart, yet you were still so approachable and helpful. I can't tell you the amount of lovely comments we've had about you all.
Finally, of course, the food was fantastic! I would not hesitate to recommend your services to anyone and will always be very happy we chose Buns to Banquets!

James and I would like to say a big thank you for the catering at our wedding last month at Bartholomew Barn.

We have recieved so many compliments about the delicious food that was served and the excellent service. The veregatrian options were delicious and the lamb and hog roast went down exceedingly well with many guests confessing that they went back for seconds!

There were also lovely touches such as the guests carving at the table - a great talking point and many nervous carvers!

We also wanted to say thank you for looking after Granny Appleton so well. We much appreciated that you adapted the drinks for her and gave her great service at the table.

Thank you so much for contributing to what was a very memorable day for us!

Thank you so very much for making Emma and Adrian's wedding day so special with the most delicious wedding breakfast ever ! The food was superb and extremely stylish. You surpassed all our expectations. Many guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever tasted.

Lisa and your new front of house lady (apologies, her name escapes me) were quite amazing and in fact the whole team were smart, polite and totally 'on the ball'. I am sure they went the extra mile with the clearing up; everything was stacked perfectly for us to remove on Sunday morning.

Lesley, you are a lady who knows what she's doing, we could not have chosen better.

You and your team surpassed all expectations. Firstly we had such an excellent planning session with all of us sitting round the dining table talking at once! You were a font of wonderful advice, ideas and experience and you listened carefully to pick up the exact feel of fun, relaxed �organised informality� that Laura & Paul wanted and Paul�s dream of lots of luscious food! We had such fun and the ideas flowed, melded and reworked to help produce the most perfect day. You and your team�s confidence was foremost and quite right too as all the food literally came straight out of the oven, so freshly and perfectly cooked, presented with wonderful big bunches of fresh herbs, the vegetables cooked to perfection and such a wonderful choice � the canap�s, breads, everything � and the really pretty cake cascading with cup cakes & woven with sweet peas! So with the wonderful food, we also got your amazing confidence, your efficient team, fun and laughter and everything better than you promised!

Dear Lesley,

Just a quick note to say a massive thank-you for all that Buns to Banquets did at our wedding on 29th November at Upwaltham Barns.

The food was absolutely top-notch, I could not fault anything, and we're still enjoying some of the cheese from the cake weeks later! Could you also please pass on my thanks to the gentleman who supplied the hog roast - he received very high praise from many of our guests - 'best pork I've ever eaten' was just one comment from my uncle.

I'd also like to say a special thanks to Lisa - having not met her before the wedding day, she went out of her way to look after both Chris and I, fending off our bolshy photographer and generally just being incredibly efficient and helpful - my bridesmaids and our best men specifically mentioned how great she was. Please could you pass this on.

Lesley, without your ideas I'm sure the day would not have been as special - I was all out of inspiration when I first met you, but you came up with so many things to think about and really helped me pull everything together. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Buns to Banquets for other weddings - not only was the quality of the catering excellent, but yourself and your team were friendly and welcoming which was why we picked you in the first place.

One last thing - the hot vodka punch was excellent :-)

Hi Lesley,

a BIG THANK YOU for last friday.
The food was fabulous!!
People were saying how yummy it all was, even my dad and he is a tough one to crack!
I wish I ate more of the evening food, and completley missed out on the cheeses, and my biggest regret, the potato salad!!

A big thank you to you and Lisa, and all your staff, and good luck to the pregnant one! (didn't catch her name!) I was impressed with Lisa's taste in music (the group she liked was called Pais Motel, she should buy the album) and she knew my wedding dress designer which made me feel special!!!

Please pass on my huge gratitude to Ollie, and huge apologies for the numerous nob heads (for want of a better phrase) that were making his evening very trying.
Poor bloke, he was endlessly polite!!
he may feel better to know there were some sick people and sore heads the next day......

you were all brilliant, and we had a fantastic time.

off on honeymoon tomorrow!

Hello Leslie,

Can I ask you to pass on our thanks for evrything you and your team did for us for Saturday. The food, the service and the staff were brilliant despite being cold! The day was really very,very special and your team played a large part in making it so.

Place Settings offered to take your cheese board and the saucepan lid that we found and get them back to you and so I hope that you have them now. Thanks again so much for lending the baord to us.

We had a truly wonderful day - the party got off to a good start and didn't stop until we put the last guests into their taxis about quarter to three. And then the first were back for lunch at half eleven!

The girls are now over half way to Aus!

Thank you so very much for all your hard work prior to, and during our Wedding Day.
John and I had the very best day of our lives and it was such a great day.

Lisa was absolutely fantastic - as were all your waitresses/waiters. Lisa was so controlled and made everything go so very smoothly for us and to her we are very grateful.
We have received so many comments from family and friends saying how lovely the staff were and how friendly , it is a credit to your company that they are so nice!
The food was wonderful from the canapes to the main meal - the only problem was that the crackers/and breads for the buffet ran out very early [- they were obviously very nice!

Both John and I would recommend your company again and we were delighted with everything you did for us from our very first meeting. No wonder you are so successful, you are excellent.

We would like to say Thank You so much for all your help with organising the catering for the Wedding of Mark and Rachel.
It all went so smoothly not only the sitdown but the evening as well, the food was brilliant and the professionalism of your staff was first class.
