Sarah & Matthew's wedding at Upwaltham Barn (14:00 - August 23rd, 2008)
Marriage of Sarah & Matthew.
Dishes of olives, vegetable crisps and cashew nuts will be served during the Champagne reception, along with home-made lemonade and three canapés. Roast beef & Yorkshire pudding with horseradish sauce, Creme fraiche & smoked salmon tartlets, parmesan and olive shortbread with home-made parsley pesto and goat's cheese.
Main Course: - plated - boned & rolled leg of lamb, stuffed with green olives, lemon, garlic & breadcrumbs served with a white wine gravy, olive oil mashed potatoes and green beans or mushroom & spinach risotto topped with parmesan shavings and served with a mixed small leaf salad with vinaigrette dressing.
Dessert: plated - Lemon torte or chocolate roulade and a bowl of green fruit salad with a fresh lime syrup. Jug of cream.
Coffee, tea & chocolate mints.
Later - Traditional hog roast with apple sauce, served in onion baps and a selection of other buttered breads.
